Hi there! Welcome to my stop of the AMAZING Altenew Stencil Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Lydia Evans blog . You are almost done and I hope you been inspired so far <3
I created A TON of cards using the newest release. So be ready for a photo filled blog post today. Also at the end of the post, I have a super fun video showing you how I water colored with a stencil! So please stay tuned!
First up is the City Scene Stencil.
With this stencil I made two cards! First up is this awesome Distress Oxyde creation. I started at the top with that purple and moved my way down with different colors. I thought it looked very clean with the white cardstock and simple sentiments using the For You stamp and die set.
The second card using the City Scene Stencil was very much inspired by HBO's Sex and the City. (theme song to SITC goes here)
On a pink piece of card stock I sentecils the outlines of the city with Altenew Jet Black. The "you" die cut was from pink foam and black glitter paper.
To add some additional sparkle, I added Gold Metallic Jewels from Pretty Pink Posh and flickers of Gold Spray.
Next up is Feeling Dotty Stencil
For this card, I am doing a selective ink blending on the center of my card panel.
Using Altenew inks in Expresso and Sand Dunes I blended the darkest color on the center, and blended outward.
Then using the same color scheme as above on the Just for You floral set. I flickered some gorgeous Forest Glades spray.
Then last but not least, I created this set of watercolor cards using the Flowing Drops Stencil
These set of cards was really fun to create! I'd tell ya how I did it, but as I mentioned earlier there is a video.
