Studio Katia 2nd Birthday Celebration Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there guys! Welcome to my stop of the Studio Katia second birthday celebration! You should have arrived from Amy Kolling's blog.

I am super excited to be here celebrating Katia's 2nd birthday, I was so excited I made two cards with the new release!

First up is this floral beauty

I wanted to use the newest Chunky Confetti Glitter, and I thought the outer layer of this card would be awesome to add.

I used tombow adhesive on the card base, added my chunky glitter just on the edge.

Then I stamped the center cardstock with the Lovely Blooms stamp in light pink. Then heat embossed the sentiment from the same set.

On a separate cardstock, I stamped, colored and hand cut the Lovely Blooms image and placed that over the white panel. To finish up, I added a bit of glitter Nuvo drops to the center of the florals.

For my second card, I wanted to make a square card!

To make this I used the Brush Stroke Wave stencil, with gray and pink ink, blending those into each other.  For the Seashell Shaker, I die cut it out of pink cardstock. The inner part I used clear Nuvo Drops and for the outer part for the shell I used glitter Nuvo. Once those were dried up, I place those on the center of the card.

The mer-people were colored with Copics. I thought the tails needed to be super special, so I used the Dots Chunky Glitter.

The sentiment was then heat embossed with silver powder

The outer edge of my card panel was decorated with Copic dots that matched the tails of my mermaids.

I am specially fond of these guys, they are super cute!

ClearSnap and Pink & Main Collaboration blog hop

Hi there! Welcome to my stop of the ClearSnap and Pink & Main collaboration blog hop!

For today's project I have me two very bright cards using the Aloha Pineapple stamp set.
To make this card I:
1. Trimmed the white cardbase
2. Stamped the solid backgrounds in ColorBox® Premium Dye Ink in Dandellion and Blush
3. The crown was stamped in ColorBox® Premium Dye Ink in Olive for the yellow pineapples and ColorBox® INK Premium Dye Mini Inkpads for the pink pineapples.
4. The top layer of the pineapple skin was stamped in ColorBox® Premium Dye Inkpads in Raspberry and Wheat for the traditional pineapple.
5. The "aloha" was stamped in ColorBox® Premium Dye Inkpad in Blush, and the "friend" in Raspberry.

I really like the one layer card, and how easy it can be to mail out.

Fro my second card, I wanted to create a background with the pineapple shell and the hello from Hello Friend stamp set.

To make this card:

1. Stamped the square skin shell from Aloha Friend using ColorBox® Premium Dye Inkpad in Dandelion over a lighter yellow shade of card stock.

2. On a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped the pineapple in  ColorBox® Premium Dye Inkpad in Dandellion and Otter, the crown was stamped in Olive .

3. Using the outer corner of the pineapple crown I did a rock n' roll technique with Dandelion then over stamp with Olive to get both colors on the ink pad. Then I stamped the crown on the edges of the white cardstock.

4. Using my stamp positioner, I stamped the "hello" in  ColorBox® Premium Dye Inkpad in Leather over the pineapple and the white cardstock.

5. With foam adhesive I added the pineapple matching up where the letters met.

6. To finish off, I added some silver glossy dots.

Isn't this a happy card?

Sending Happy Mail | May Release | Pretty Pink Posh

Hello! Happy Friday! Just wanted to stop by today and show you this card I made using Pretty Pink Posh newest release.

This was super simple to make! The background is composed of simple watercolor and the sentiment stamped in black ink.

I colored the mail box with Copic Markers and die cut using the coordinating dies.

The edge of the white card base was cut with scalloped borders 1, and placed black and white patterned paper behind it.

Wasn't this just so fun and simple?! I paired this card with a little gift and sent it off to a friend. I hope that you get inspired to use this set, as it could easily make quite a few card sets.

Thanks!

Color Pencils on Kraft | Color Combos with Crystal | Unity Stamp Company

Happy day friends! Crystal here with my second installment to the month of May Kraft Color Combo series. I am so excited to be sharing this card made with the gorgeous florals from Wild Florals kit and Mother sentiment from from Another Name for Love.

If you have not seen this set yet, you should definitely check it out; I absolutely adore this stamp set..

In my project for this post, the pencil coloring on kraft cardstock creates a mesmerizing effect! I specially love the softness it provides. This would be easy to re-create and mass produce this to keep in your card stash. Just switch the sentiments if need be!

To make this card, I have stamped the Wild Florals flower 3 times, slightly overlapping them on the bottom of the kraft card stock.

Then I used my Chameleon pencils to color. First I used the white on all the tips of all the leaves and petals. Next I used a yellow shade to fill in below the white. Blending in 2 other shades of darker yellow on the center of the florals. The leaves were colored with a light green on the bottom of them.

Then I stamped the sentiment "Mother is another name for love" from the kit Another Name for Love.  As a finishing touch, I added splatters of white gold water color from my Starry Gansai Tambi.

If you would like to see how i created this card, be sure to press play on the video below this post!

I’d totally love you FOREVER, if you would give this video a thumbs up, and subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Thanks for visiting with me today; I’’ll be back soon with a brand new kraft color combination video for you!

New Unity Kraft card stock Series | Color Stamping on Kraft | Unity Stamp Co.

Happy day friends! I am here with a fun card and post. I am so excited to be sharing this card made with the butterflies and Mother's day friendly sentiment from from Another Name for Love.
If you have not seen this set yet, you should definitely check it out; I absolutely adore this stamp set..

Before I tell you more about how I made this card, I wanted to tell ya, that I had asked on the Unity Show N Tell Facebook group what you would like to see. I especially like asking for feedback on your thoughts! For this card series I wanted to make several different cards using one similar component that most would have in their crafty stash. This being kraft cardstock!

In my project for this post, the color stamping on kraft cardstock creates a mesmerizing effect! I specially love the idea of "no coloring", so it would be easy to re-create and mass produce this to keep in your card stash. Just switch the sentiments if need be!

The look of 4 ink colors and kraft together is gorgeous. The ink colors are Catherine Pooler's in -It's A Girl (light pink), Party Dress (dark pink), Aquatinni (mint) & Daydream (dark teal). You can use any of your ink pads in your stash!

To make this card, I trimmed the kraft cardstock to be matted over the white card base. Stamped the sentiment in black ink on the center of the kraft cardstock. Using the butterfly from the Another Name for Love, I stamped it repetitively switching ink colors. On several of the butterflies using a 2 color ombre effect.
Finally, I finished off this card by adding some pretty gold watercolor flicks and gold embroidery thread from my local arts & crafts store.
The combination of soft and bright colors in this sweet card really turned out fun and I hope you are inspired by what I’ve created!

If you would like to see how i created this card, be sure to press play on the video below this post!

I'd totally love you FOREVER, if you would give this video a thumbs up, and subscribe to the Unity YouTube channel!

Thanks for visiting with me today; I’’ll be back soon with a brand new video for you!
