Home for the Holidays | Stamp of Approval Release

Hi there friends! Crystal here as a guest designer for this AMAZING holiday packed Stamp of Approval collection. I had WAY too much fun creating with the Home for the Holiday stamps.

I want to begin by inviting you to hop on over to the my Youtube channel and watch how I made this card: (and a chance to win some SOA goodies)

Ok, so back to today's release, I am using the same stamp set above to make a festive and bright card!

To make this card, I used the Christmas Cookies stamp set and the sentiment from the Holiday Mixed Sentiment Set.

First, I stamped the large and smaller snow flakes from Christmas Cookies on the teal cardstock. Then I layered the white cardstock over it, the sentiment is stamped in Rocking Red. The Christmas tree "cookie" was stamped with Lime Rickey over similar color cardstock.

The tree and extra snowflake were placed with foam adhesive on the white cardstock and embellished with silver sequins and silver thread.

Now, it's your turn to make something with your SOA!

Pretty Pink Posh Fall Release | Blog Hop Day 2

Hi friends! Welcome to my stop of the Pretty Pink Posh blog, you should have arrived here from Jeanne Jachna blog. If you are lost, I have the full line up available at the end of this post.

For my project, I am using the GORGEOUS Small Stitched Foliage Dies  + Espresso Jewels Autumn Wreath Stamp Set

I thought, it would be fun to have a pattern of die cuts from the Small Stitched Foliage cut, then use watercolors on a background sheet to add fall colors.

The embellishment came from the Espresso Jewels. I have not seen any one make these in brown, and these really say "fall".

The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in gold Autumn Wreath Stamp Set

The white panel was then watercolored with teal, orange, purple and a bit of yellow.

Once that was dried the die cut was placed above it with foam adhesive. This was a seriously easy card to make, yet it looks neat and complicated.

Now, let me tell you about the blog hop! There are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PDT on 9/18/2018. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

So be sure to hop on over to the amazing Mindy Eggen

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hi there friends!! Crystal here for Heffy Doodle, celebrating Simon Says Stamp Stamptember. I a so excited to be celebrating this very special day as Heffy Doodle turned one back in July and now we get to be among some of the best and neatest stamp companies out there. I

Anyways, today I have a card using our collaboration with Simon Says Stamp.

To make this card, I stamped the smores, coffee cups , hearts and tea cups on a white panel.

The stamped panel was placed over kraft cardstock , then a sentiment was heat embossed in pink.

The cute squirel was stamped, handcut, copic colored and placed in the circle cut out

How fun was that?! I love this set designed by Leslie (owner of Heffy Doodle) because it has many sentiments.

Reverse Confetti September Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Welcome to my stop of the Reverse Confetti September Release Blog Hop. This is a very special release as it encompasses all 3 upcoming holidays in a neat little package!

You should have arrived here from Laurie Wilson's blog. Isn't that woman absolutely talented?!

For my stop of the blog, I decided to show you another Christmas card using one of the newest sets called Holiday Gnomes and the AMAZING Triangles Die.

I believe I don't do cute cards very well, but the little town in this set was super fun to work with.

Using Distress Oxydes to create the skyline.

Stamped the little houses, die cut and colored with copics. I drew some bricks on them to make them different

Then the trees were colored, and Nuvo drops added as ornaments.

Glitter Nuvo to be my twinkling stars

The triangles die at the bottom for snow and texture!
Make sure to visit the other talented crafters joining the hop -you'll find lots more inspiration!

Reverse Confetti Release Sneak Peek 3 | Christmas Candles

Hi Crafty Friends!

It's Day 3 of the new Release sneak peeks and I hope you have been inspired by the entire Reverse Confetti team and guest designers.

For today I am showcasing on this very holiday inspired set is called Christmas Candles.

I was absolutely inspired by this very en-lighting set to make it the center piece of a square card.

On green cardstock , I stamped the green pinery and die cut with the matching Confetti Cuts from Christmas Candles

Then on white cardstock, I heat embossed the sentiment in gold .

Thee candle was die cut from a separate piece of cardstock, heat embossed in gold, then colored in Copics.

The flame was then finger blended from yellow ink. The whole thing was topped off with gold watercolor flickers and red Nuvo drops for the berries.
