Right At Home | Golden Christmas Foliage | Guest Designer

Hi there, Crystal Thompson here with a very special guest design spot using Right At Home Christmas Foliage. I am super excited to be here sharing this special card made with lots of gold and glitter.

This stamp set is gorgeous, and while the poinsettia from Christmas Foliage are perfect for coloring I wanted to keep it one tone yet elegant.

To make this card, I began by heat embossing the card base with the poinsettia, pine and holly stamps from Christmas Foliage with gold embossing powder. Next, using vellum, and gold glitter cardstock I matted that over the card base. I measured out my sentiment and placed it on the glitter cardstock.

To finish it up, I added Nuvo Drops to my holly berries and added one last die cut poinsettia cut from the matching Christmas Foliage Die

It's a vision in gold! I hope you liked what I created today. I will be back later in the month with a few more projects.

Hugs!

Crystal

The Ink Road | My Favorite Face | Guest Designer

Hi there! Today I have a super fun post for The Ink Road Stamp company! I received some fabulous stamp sets to create with and I just love the sentiments. They are super witty and funny.

The compliments on these are fantastic and I could not resist the leaves.

To make this, I stamped the leaves from Frond of You in two shades of green on to a masked centered area. Then heat embossed with gold a set of the leaves.

Once that was all dried up,  I added my sentiment from Compliments Volume 2.

And finished off with gold sequins!

What are your thoughts?! I loved the colors on this.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh | Merry Christmas on Pattern Paper

Hello! Today I have another Christmas card featuring the newest release from Pretty Pink Posh. You know my "go to" is glitter paper and of course, this is loaded up with some fun elements all glittered up.

To start I selected a few pieced of patterned paper for my card panel.

The white holly leaves are from Festive Holly Dies

Added some glitter nuvo to the berries

Glitter sentiment Merry Christmas Script Die and Sparkling Clear Snowflake Sequins Mix   for the shaker.

Quite glittery right?! This card was difficult to photograph as glitter sometimes does not come through pictures, but I did my best on this.  Have you started your Christmas cards yet? I am going to be a bit easy this year and send photo cards.

Heffy Doodle | Elfish Antics

Happy Tuesday! I am here with a card made with Heffy Doodle's Elfish Antics. Gosh, this is my FAVORITE stamp set right now as I love the movie Elf. I seriously watch it several times a month when I feel I won't be judged too harshly!

This little guy was colored in Copics, then die cut with the matching Elfish Antics die.

The sequin mix is from Pretty Pink Posh called 4mm Vintage Christmas Sequins Mix

The sentiment is heat embossed on to the Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I really liked the simplicity of this card and will be sure to send it out to the friend who introduced me to the movie Elf.

Have a great Tuesday!

Pretty Pink Posh | Joy

Happy Monday! Super bright and early for me this am, as I wanting to share this card made using Pretty Pink Posh newest Winter release. With Thanksgiving nearly over, I am moving on to Christmas cards. I am warning you this post if photo heavy!

I decided to go a bit untraditional on the green holly leaves, as I want it to be bright and cheery. I, of course, used the Festive Holly Dies

Now for the shaker, the Joy Shaker Die  was the centerpiece paired with Berry Bright Sequins Mix

Quite festive little card, isnt it?! I hope you enjoyed this, I am off to wake up the kiddos and get this busy week started.

Have a great week<3

Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights | Monthly Challenge | November

Hi there! Today I am posting a very fun challenge featuring the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge... If you have not heard from it the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge is a monthly inspirational challenge based on a Color Trend Inspirational photo that is located on the CLASSroom blog.

I was given this November Color trend to create something to inspire you!

The bright colors were my inspiration so, I got to work and made a very colorful card!

I wanted to create something that would work for fall and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday

To make this I heat embossed in white powder the Bohemian Garden on to watercolor paper. Once that was dried up, I dabbed Daniel Smith watercolor onto the panel.

The "happy" die cut is from Winnie & Walter: In a Word Cutaways: Happy. This too was die cut from heavy watercolor paper and adhered on to the card base.
Now it is your turn to play along! Hop on over to the Ellen Hutson Pin Sight Challenge! Click here!

There is a prize for playing along!  A random challenge participant will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Ellen Hutson store.  To be eligible, they MUST use Essentials by Ellen products and the photo badge as inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Unity Stamp Company | Christmas Card Series | 5

Hi! Continuing on with day 5 of my Unity Christmas Card series!

Here I have October Kit of the Month on some water color paper, then ink smooched with distress oxydes.

The sentiment is heat embossed on Stampin' Up Old Olive card stock.

Unity Stamp Company | Inspiration Wednesday

Hi friends, Crystal here with Unity Inspiration Wednesday. For this lovely day, I decided to use the newest Kit of the Month!  My color palette of inspiration is one I found on Pinterest called #847

I loved how bright and pretty that was, and thought it perfect to use with the gorgeous feather from KOM.

So, away I went to heat emboss the floral feather on to white watercolor paper and watercolor the living out of this image!

Then I heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and stuck that on with foam adhesive.

To finish the card, a few drops of Nuvo drop are added.

I hope you have been inspired by this gorgeous color combo. Hope you make something and be sure to tag us on your social media so we can take a look!

Hugs!
