April Color Combo | 4 Colors + 4 Cards | Episode 3

Happy day friends! Crystal here with a fun card post and I am so excited to be sharing this card made with Happy Moments from the Gracielle Designs collection and the floral feather from November Kit of the Month.

If you have not seen this set yet, you should definitely check it out; I absolutely adore these stamp sets.

I am continuing on my series for this bright color combination for April, where I am making 4 cards with the same color combo! If you missed the first post, click HERE for part 1, and Episode 2, click HERE

In my project for this post, the blending of Distress Oxydes was used to create a mesmerizing effect! I created this card with the gorgeous Happy Moments and November Kit of the month stamp set, I love the details in the floral feather image.

The one layered blending is a great base for any card. I stamped the floral feather in archival black ink, blended distress oxydes, added water. While blending, I was careful not to touch the sentiment from Happy Moments as it was the focal point.

Finally, I finished off this card by adding some pretty water dropplets from Pretty Pink Posh.

The combination of soft and bright colors in this sweet card really turned out fun and I hope you are inspired by what I’ve created!

3D wings | Cuddlebug Butterfly | Unity Stamp Company Bloh Hop

Happy day friends! You should have arrived here from Camille's blog! Crystal here with a fun card post and I am so excited to be sharing this card made with the newest Cuddlebugs Butterfly Kit from Unity Stamp Company. If you have not seen this set yet, you should definitely check it out; I absolutely adore this stamp set and it is officially released TODAY!

In my project for this post, the white and black stamp create a mesmerizing effect! , I love the details in this image so much I chose not to color it!

Now for the sentiment, I thought this would be ever cheery for a birthday.The look of this stamp and Happy Moments together is gorgeous.

The backgrounds is where I really enjoyed the pop of color. I used Catherine Pooler Rockin' Red ink and blended.

I created a quick video of the full process of this card and I hope you love it!

April Color Combo | 4 Colors + 4 Cards | Episode 2

In my project for this post, a stripped stencil was used to create a mesmerizing effect! I created this card with the gorgeous Happy Moments stamp set, I love the details in this image. Along with stencil, I used Distress Oxydes to " color "the image. The sentiment is also from Happy Moments stamp set, stamped in black ink.

The look of the color combos and stencils together is gorgeous.

Finally, I finished off this card by adding some pretty black and white twine from Hobby Lobby,

Pinkfresh Studio 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Good morning! I am so excited this morning to be hopping along with a fabulous line-up to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's 4th Birthday! There are a lot of amazing cardmakers and scrapbookers along the hop - and prizes at every stop! For my hop project I incorporated the sketch I drew up from the April Challenge.

The background stamp is the Lined Floral backgrounds

I then added a piece of silver thread and matted over the solid cardstock. With several sheets of white cardstock, I die cut one of the flowers from Floral Squares dies.

The sentiment was then stamped and die cut from Word Series: Thanks. To finish off, I added white and silver Nuvo drops and a splatter of black spray.
