Honey Bee Stamps | Winnie & Walter | Hello

Hello, friends!I'm here with my official last post as part of the Butterfly Reflections design team member. So I figured it ever ironic to make a card saying Hello since it's never really a "goodbye" but a "see you later".

To make this card, I began by masking each side of my card panel, then stamping the floral background using Honey Bee Stamps Zen Bouquet in Altenew Deep Iris Crisp Ink.

Next, attached silver thread to the "hello" from Winnie & Walter. This was attached to the card base using foam adhesive and topped off with Pretty Pink Posh silver confetti.

I really like how the sentiment does not takeaway from the beautiful background stamp.

I absolutely loved being part of this great team and working alongside Vanessa.

Thanks again for a fantastic term, Cheers!

Concord & 9th | Altenew | Thanks

Hi, there friend, Crystal here with a very simple yet stunning card featuring Concord & 9th and Altenew newest releases.

I was inspired by this color scheme found on Pinterest.

To make this, I began by stamping Altenew Floral Fantasy in Altenew Crisp Inks in the following sets, Cool Summer Night for the leaves, Red Cosmos for the pink flowers and Summer Afternoon for the yellow tones. Stamping the flowers came first, then the leaves.

The sentiment is Aloha from Concord & 9th July release. Heat Embossed in white on black cardstock and adhere to the card base with foam adhesive.

I am pretty pleased with the way this turned out, and I love how Pinterest can be a source of inspiration. Thanks for stopping by today!

Altenew | Floral Fantasy

Hello, friends! Crystal here on this Friday with a card made with my newest Butterfly Reflections haul.

As I try to beat the heat and stay inside, I created this card using one of Altenew's newest releases, Floral Fantasy.

The minute I saw this, I knew I had to have it, and well it somehow made its way to my little hands. Anyways, this is my card:

It was very quite simple to create. First I began by splattering gold Gansai Tambi Stary Colors, next I stamped the flowers in Altenew Inks, Frayed Leaf, Evergreen and Forest Glades. The blue flower is stamped in Cool Summer Night set of inks. The leaf is stamped in Altenew Sand Dunes.

These flowers were of course layered and finished off the prayers sentiment from Hero Arts die cut in gold card stock. Pretty Pink Posh Gold Metallic sequins added some more gold touches to this.

I am entering this card to August Inspiration Challenge.

Unity Stamp Company | Multiple Layer Stamping

Hi friends, I have a simple and fun technique with the sentiment from Unity's August Kit of the Month and an older Itty Bitty stamp set called Born an Original.

This is very simple. I stamped my sentiment in the center and repeated the same stamp set around in different colors. I have a quick video showing this card.

Concord & 9th | Hurray and Hello Lovely

Hello lovelies, I am here with my Butterfly Reflections Friday Inspiration for this last Friday of July. Sure seems Summer just got started and all I see around me is the back to school sales and advertisements.

To keep my mind off it, I am thinking of all those upcoming fall weddings and birthdays. Shades of Gray seems to be the perfect fit for both...To make this card I am using two of my favorite items from Concord & 9th, Hurray stamp set, and Hello Lovely stamp set.

To make this card, I began with my gray cardstock as a base, then stamped in Altenew Industrial Diamond & Dark Graphite the pattern from the Hurray stamp set. The sentiment is stamped in Dark Graphite.

Next, I stamped the floral from Hello Lovely and fuzzy cut that. Adhered to the card with foam adhesive. Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins were added and a touch of white gold watercolor from Gansai Tambi Starry was the finishing touch.

I love the minimalist look of this card. Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Concord & 9th | Sunshine Turnabout Bundle | Feature Fridays

Hi, crafty friends, happy oh glorious Friday! Today I am so excited to be part of Concord & 9th Feature Friday. If you follow them or me on social media you have seen I am part of their July Guest Design Team. Of course, they have knocked it out of the park with this release, and one of my favorites is the Sunshine Turnabout Bundle.

The turnabouts are such a fun stamp to create backgrounds with. I wanted to create something that focused on the turnabout.

Before I launch into a brief explanation on how to make this card, I want to encourage you to watch the video on turnabouts from Concord & 9th. It will save you ALOT of time and hassle. ( experience talking here) Click HERE

To start, my sunburst turnabout colors are Altenew Cool Summer Night collection.I loved that they coordinate effortlessly. Next, I die cut using the Sunshine Dies and heat embossed the sentiment in WOW White Glitter powder.

The flowers are also stamped in alternating the layers of Altenew Cool Summer Breeze. The leaves are stamped in Altenew Moss and Parrot. Then adhered to the base and finished off with Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sequins.

That's it! Pretty simple and fun, right?! I hope you enjoyed this project. Come back next Friday for another Feature Friday featuring Unicorn Awesomeness Bundle.

Glitter Hugs!

Concord & 9th | Petals & Pallets Bundle

Hello, Friends! Thanks for joining me on this beautiful summer morning. Today I am playing around with Concord & 9th Petals & Pallets Stamps & Dies.

Petals & Pallets DiesPetals & Pallets Stamp Set

These beauties have summer written all over them and I thought they would be perfect for a series of thank you cards I needed to make for the ladies that made it to my baby shower.

To make this I began by stamping the wood grain pallet using Altenew Rocky Shore Ink. The pallet was stamped multiple times using the MISTI as I made at least 6 of these cards.

Next, the Hydrangeas (that's what I think they are) are stamped in Altenew Midnight Violet and Deep Iris and die cut with the coordinating die along with the leaves.

The sentiment was stamped on kraft cardstock with Altenew Midnight Violet and trimmed to size.

That is all for me today. Thanks so much!

Altenew Perennial Beauty | You're a beautiful person

Hi there! Hope you are enjoying this awesome third day of Summer with a simple and fun card that is sure to cheer up a friend. For this card, I selected Altenew Perennial Beauty!

To make this I started with Crate Paper 6x6 pad named Gather. Next, I trimmed a white cardstock to be centered on the card and stamped the sentiment in Altenew Jet Black

The flower was stamped using Altenew Perennial Beauty in Frosty Pink, Coral Berry, Ruby Red & Grapevine. Leaves are also stamped using Altenew Crisp Inks. I decided it would be fun to have 2 shades of leaves. After everything dried up, I fuzzy cut and adhered to the card.

To finish this, I placed Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets.

I love how simple this was to make and it turned out very pretty. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Concord & 9th | Hello Lovely

Hi there friends! Today I'm here with a simple card featuring Concord & 9th, Altenew & Pretty Pink Posh.

The colors on this card were an inspiration from this week's Flag day. I recently purchased Altenew Artist Markers Set A as I loved the brush tip on them, and the colors are perfect for color layering and blending. So with this in mind, I select Concord & 9th Hello Lovely image to color!

To make this, I stamped the Concord & 9th Hello Lovely floral & sentiment on to a white piece of card stock using Altenew Ink in Jet Black. The entire floral piece was colored with Altenew Artist Marker Set.

Next, I added gold thread and gorgeous Metallic Gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. To finish the card I placed it on red card stock and added details with a white Signo pen.

This card is ready to be sent out, I loved how bold the colors are, and yet it turned out elegant.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Simply Stamps| With Sympathy

Hi friends, Crystal here with a sympathy card. For me, sympathy cards are not the most enjoyable kind of card to make, however making them ahead of time can be easier.

I got my inspiration from the beautiful outdoors. The stamps are on the Simply Stamps website under craft stamps.

To make this card, I began by die cutting a piece of white card stock with a scalloped edge die. The sentiment was stamped in our darkest color used on this card. Next, using a silver ink color, stamp the leaves on the die cut card stock, to get the shadow effect continue stamping without re-inking. Set aside to dry.

Next we will stamp the card base. Start with the darkest color and continue stamping without re-inking. I stamped in a random pattern. Using a lighter green, I did the same step as before. Glitter washi tape was added to the top die cut and using adhered to base with foam adhesive.

To finish, I used a light blue marker and marked around the edges.

Below is a video of how I made this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Heartfelt Sympathy

Hi there! Hope you are having super awesome week! Today I have a special order from my MOPS leader for one of our fellow ladies.

I had some left over Altenew flowers from a previous project. I die cut the circle then stamped in light violet. Flowers and circle are adhered using 3D foam. To finish this, I added a few pears in white and violet. Some sequins brightened things up.

I hope the ladies like it. I sure did :)

3D foam, added the "thanks" sentiment die cut from gold vellum and finished it off with gold sequins.

BFF Thanks

Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by. Today I have a card with lots of goodies made for a friend who gift ME a Simon says gift card! So, of course I just had to make her a card with the new goodies courtesy of her.

The flowers were heat embossed in gold, then watercolored. The back ground paper is from MME On Trend 2. The "thanks" die is actually from craftin' desert divas, then I heat embossed in the same gold tone as the flowers. Finished the card off by adding gold sequins!

I think the longest part of making this card was to cut the flowers!

I am entering into the following challenges:
