Simply Stamps | One Stamp 4 Ways | Part 2

Hi and welcome! Today I have a series post for SimplyStamps.com called One Stamp 4 ways in which I use one stamp set from the Simply Stamp site and use it in four different cards, with four different techniques.

The stamp set I selected for today's series is called Happy Thanksgiving Daisies Craft Stamp.

This second project is simply stamping! With the use of 4 ink colors I used the smaller of the daisies to create a floral background.

To start, trim your black card mat to fit over  your card base. Next trimming a white piece of card stock to be 1 cm smaller than the black mat. Proceed to stamp your flowers in each ink color. allowing for some time to dry in between

Using a smaller piece of black cardstock heat emboss in white the sentiment. In this case, its the word "thanks" from a previous design your own stamp also from Simply Stamp.com

To finish the card using foam adhesive place your sentiment in the center and voila!

I did create a video as I made this card. You can view it below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Pretty Pink Posh March Release and Giveaway

Hello and welcome! Thank you for stopping by today and participating in the AMAZING Pretty Pink Posh March Release Blog Hop!

Hope you have liked all the beautiful projects thus far.

You should of arrived here from Melody Rupple's blog. If you just happened along, I invite you to start at the Pretty Pink Posh blog.

Today I have two projects to share with you and both are of very different style.

First up is this simple card using the new Easter Blessings Stamp Set.   The lilies stamped in black Memento in a circular pattern. The sentiment is from Everyday Greetings Stamp Set
To create the focal point I used the Scallop Circles Dies The lilies are slightly colored using gold watercolors and splatters of the same on rest of the card.
For my second project, I could not resist coloring the adorable bunny people from the Easter Friends Stamp Set!
Using the Stitched Notes Dies from the March release, I created my border and main background. With watercolors, I colored a Spring sky and very green grass.
The little cuties are colored with Copics and placed on the base of the card with foam adhesive.

Simply Stamps | One Stamp 4 Ways| Part 1

Hi and welcome! Today I have a series post for SimplyStamps.com called One Stamp 4 ways in which I use one stamp set from the Simply Stamp site and use it in four different cards, with four different techniques.

The stamp set I selected for today's series is called Happy Thanksgiving Daisies Craft Stamp.

I made this first card without a sentiment as I would like to make a set of them for gifts or to just add the appropriate sentiment at a later time.

To make this card, I started by first trimming my rubber stamp from the block and separating the two clumps of daisies. Next, with the Big Shot die cutting machine, I die cut a white piece of card stock to have the scalloped edging. Then using white embossing powder I stamped the images in embossing ink and heat set. Once that had cooled off, I used distress inks to color the background.

The white embossing resists the ink color and creates a fun effect. To finish off, I adhered the design to a white card base.  Now the card is ready for sentiment and/or embellishment.

I have created a video while making this card. Hope you enjoy!
