Monster Mania & Party Dies from CDD

Today is Day 4 of the sneak peeks for the August stamp release at Craftin Desert Divas.

We have 4 new stamp sets and 2 new die sets for this release.
Today we are showcasing Monster Mania stamps and Party Dies!

I have created 2 cards for the two sets! First card up is a fun and simple using Monster Mania critters. These were colored with Copics. The banner is from Banner Dies from CDD.

Next Up is a card made using the Party Dies. The balloons were all die cut from gold foil papers, the sentiment "Happy Day" is from CDD's Picture That stamp set.

6x6 Page Layout Inspiration

Hello! Crystal here to host the blog. First, thank you for joining us today for some 6x6 page inspiration featuring Catalina Island  Let's get started!

Start by trimming a solid piece of card stock to a 6x6 size. Proceed to cut your patterned paper to 2x6. Select a "rib boning" solid and place in the center between your 6x6 piece and the patterned paper.

Next trim a piece of paper to serve as your mat for your photo. Embellish with papers cut into ribbons and adhere on the back.

Embellish!

Now your 6x6 page is ready for a gorgeous photo.

I have created this fun scarecrow card using the new stamp set I heat embossed the sunflowers in gold, once all the flowers were layered I heat embossed a sunflower on clear card stock. Sentiment "here is a hug" is heat embossed in white. The background paper is vellum with gold accents and the brown card stock was die cut using the Fancy Frames die set from CDD!

Welcome Baby using Punny Farm.

Hi everyone, this is Crystal from Crystal Thompson Inks with my project for Craftin' Desert Divas!! This is a fun, quick and easy card I made to share with you today. 

I am absolutely in LOVE with Craftin’ Desert Diva’s stamps! 

For this card I used "Punny Farm"  stamp set & banner dies.

  

The ducks are colored with copics and trimmed.The banner is vellum cut using the banner dies.
The background paper is actually embossed!

Chalk Ink Inspiration with Crystal

Hello! Crystal here to host the blog. First, thank you for joining us today for some card inspiration featuring Quick Quotes Chalking Inks. This card was made by stamping lots of gorgeous chalking inks. Let's get started!

First select your "main" color chalking ink. Here I am using Caribbean Blue as my main color and selecting my coordinating card stock.

Then proceed to stamp your shape in different colors.Make sure you allow time to dry between colors/stamping.  Add your sentiment.

I wanted to add wood shapes, so I simply stained them using the chalking inks. Voila! It's done.
