I fell in LOVE with the Scenery: Spotty Creative Screenings that I wanted to incorporate in this girly card for my niece.

Evelin did a great job designing these cuties and the sentiments are adorbs. Party On with Evelin T Designs, Party On with Evelin T Designs Cutaways

Winnie & Walter | June Release Day 2

Happy Wednesday! The Winnie & Walter sneak peek week is in full swing and I have my second card featuring the Big Balloon Cutaways and In a Word: Party.

I felt this card was New Years Eve style in June. To make this card, the base is gold glitter, then the balloon was die cut with the Big Balloon Cutaways. The In a Word: Party was die cut in black glitter card stock.

The party dies is so much fun, and it just needed to be covered in glitter. That does it for me today, tomorrow I have another card in a very different style.

Pretty Pink Posh | Always In My Heart

Hi, friends! Today I have a simple card using Pretty Pink Posh Bold Bloom set and Thoughtful Greetings.

Recently, I have been obsessed with everything gray. Perhaps it was the long gray winter here in the Pacific Northwest. Anyways, orange and gray was the theme for this card. To make this I trimmed a gray card stock to be my card base. Next, I stamped the Bold Bloom set in two different orange tones, on a white card stock then trimmed it be placed off centered.

The sentiment from Thoughtful Greetings is stamped in the darker orange ink. Then I placed silver washi tape on the edges.

Once that was all set,  I wanted more dimension on it. So with the leafy stems of Bold Blooms, I Copic colored and placed Glossy Accents. Of course, it wouldn't be done without some Silver Sequins.

I liked the different colors of this card, it is happy yet not overly bright.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Winnie & Walter | Essentials: Lana Cutaway

Hello crafty friends, Crystal here with my last post as Winnie & Walter's June Leading Lady. As my last performance I have a very bright card using the fabulous new Cutaways released this Spring.

To make this card, I started with the bright green patterned paper. Next, I trimmed the solid green card stock and hand cut the end pieces to resemble a ribbon. I then added a white paper doily cut in half.  To layer on top, I die cut the white card stock using Essentials: Lana Cutaway.

Using a matching green ink, I stamped the BE and NIQUE from Typecast: Cary Letters. The YOU is stamped in Typecast: Cary Letters and die cut with Typecast: Cary Letters Cutaways, then adhered to the white die cut with foam adhesive to give the card dimension. Once that was all glued down, I added two ribbons of hot pink paper stamped with Scenery: Stripes 2 in a darker pink, then trimmed down. To finish off, the YOU is covered in Glossy Accents and added a few matching sequins.

This card ended up being very bright and happy. I have had a great time spending my Saturday's here on the Winnie & Walter Blog. Don't forget to comment on BELOW the post for a chance to win the $30 gift certificate to the Winnie & Walter store. Winner will be announced HERE on, Monday June 26th at 10am PST.

Have a bright and fabulous week!

Altenew Perennial Beauty | You're a beautiful person

Hi there! Hope you are enjoying this awesome third day of Summer with a simple and fun card that is sure to cheer up a friend. For this card, I selected Altenew Perennial Beauty!

To make this I started with Crate Paper 6x6 pad named Gather. Next, I trimmed a white cardstock to be centered on the card and stamped the sentiment in Altenew Jet Black

The flower was stamped using Altenew Perennial Beauty in Frosty Pink, Coral Berry, Ruby Red & Grapevine. Leaves are also stamped using Altenew Crisp Inks. I decided it would be fun to have 2 shades of leaves. After everything dried up, I fuzzy cut and adhered to the card.

To finish this, I placed Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets.

I love how simple this was to make and it turned out very pretty. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Pretty Pink Posh | One Layer Build A Bloom

Hi friends, thank so much for joining me on this gorgeous day. Today, I am playing around with one of my favorite stamp sets from Pretty Pink Posh. Of course, it is the super versatile Build A Bloom stamp set.

When I saw this set I decided I wanted to challenge myself and create a one layer card as it seems my go-to item is adhesive foam! (I love that stuff).

So, this is what I came up with:

To make this I began by stamping the leaves from the Build A Bloom set in Altenew Desert Night ink. Next, I stamped in the solid pink blooms in Altenew Frosty Pink and layered over that with Coral Berry.  Using Stampin Up Crushed Curry I stamped the yellow circles.

To stamp my sentiment I did pull out my Mini MISTI as I am horrible about stamping sentiments evenly with acrylic blocks.  The sentiment is PPP Thoughtful Greetings. To add some *posh* to this I glued down PPP Silver Mini Circles with Glossy Accents. ( I love these mini circles as they are flat and survive the mailing process) To finish, I added silver thread and adhered everything to the card base.

Since it was a simple one layer card, I made two! Just varied the sentiment and change the direction of the base.

That is all for me today! Hope you have a great week!

Crystal

PS. All Pretty Pink Posh products used on this card are linked to the Pretty Pink Posh store. Other items are available for sale on Amazon.

Winnie & Walter |Die Cuts and Stamping | Take 3

Happy Saturday crafty friends! Today I am here with my 3rd project combining stamping and die cutting.

This card is made using two of Winnie & Walter Sets. Sketchy Thoughts Stamps and Sketchy Thoughts Cutaways along with  In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya

First, I stamped the leaves from Lola's Bouquet  in three different shades of gray onto the white card base. (Tip: Allow drying between stamping to avoid getting your fingers inky and staining the card... as I did)

Next, I stamped the speech bubble from Sketchy Thoughts using the middle shade of gray. Using white embossing powder, I heat embossed the sentiment from Sketchy Thoughts and once that was dried I die cut using Sketchy Thoughts Cutaways

Before placing my speech bubble, I added a few strips of washi tape, then with 3D foam adhesive I placed my sentiment.

Giveaway:

Comment on my corresponding Winnie & Walter post on my blog for a chance to win a $30 gift certificate. There will be 4 posts for the month of June, giving you 4 entries to win.

That is all for this Saturday. Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy the sunshine!

Concord & 9th | Hello Lovely

Hi there friends! Today I'm here with a simple card featuring Concord & 9th, Altenew & Pretty Pink Posh.

The colors on this card were an inspiration from this week's Flag day. I recently purchased Altenew Artist Markers Set A as I loved the brush tip on them, and the colors are perfect for color layering and blending. So with this in mind, I select Concord & 9th Hello Lovely image to color!

To make this, I stamped the Concord & 9th Hello Lovely floral & sentiment on to a white piece of card stock using Altenew Ink in Jet Black. The entire floral piece was colored with Altenew Artist Marker Set.

Next, I added gold thread and gorgeous Metallic Gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. To finish the card I placed it on red card stock and added details with a white Signo pen.

This card is ready to be sent out, I loved how bold the colors are, and yet it turned out elegant.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Winnie & Walter | Just Die Cuts | Take Two

Hi crafty friends! Crystal here again on this wonderful Saturday celebrating National Ballpoint Pen Day(I'm not kidding)! What better way to celebrate than making a card, writing something in it (with your ballpoint pen) and sending it out.

I chose to make a card without stamping! I can't believe that's allowed on a stamping site, yet it turned out pretty cute. For this, I am mixing some newer and older Cutaways from Winnie & Walter

First I started by trimming a piece of patterned paper and adhered to the card base. Next, using Winnie & Walter's  Cover Model: Multifaceted Cutaway I die cut on white card stock using my Big Shot. I did not take out all the triangles, just the center ones. Carefully placing adhesive on the back of each triangle so they don't fall out when I mail this. Then adhering the die cut to the patterned paper.

To continue with the no stamping, I die cut vellum using "ticket" die from Lana Cutaways, and wrapped silver thread and white twine to it, then glued that to the base.

The "congrats" is from the Spring release In a Word: Congrats Cutaway  using black card stock, and then placed on card base with 3D foam adhesive.  Voila, the card is ready for some penmanship and be mailed out!

Don't forget about the ongoing giveaway! Comment on my corresponding Winnie & Walter post on my blog for a chance to win a $30 gift certificate. There will be 4 posts for the month of June, giving you 4 entries to win.

Thanks so much for your time today! Hope you have a great week!

Concord & 9th| Honey Bee Stamps | Blooms & Prayers

Hi there crafty friends! It's Fri-Yay and I have a card made featuring the newest release from Concord & 9th , the all time favorite sentiments from Honey Bee Stamps, confetti & Scallop dies from Pretty Pink Posh and the Lawn Fawn's Stitched Trails die.

About a week ago, I saw a photo on Instagram from Concord & 9th showing how the blooms could be easily separated. That was the end of my self control and ordered these babies from Butterfly Reflections.

To make this card, I started with a patterned paper from "Gather" 6x6 paper pad trimmed to size. Die cut right in the center with Lawn Fawn "Stitched Trails" Lawn Cuts.  On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps "Prayers" Set using Hero Arts Pastel Green. Then stamped leaves from Honey Bee Stamps "Country Bloom"set using a gray ink.

The ribbon was then created by cutting the sentiment using Pretty Pink Posh "Scallop Border" Dies on top and bottom. With green cardstock I die cut the flowers from Concord & 9th "Detailed Bloom". To finish I added some gorgeous silver confetti mix from Pretty Pink Posh.

This color combo is one of my favorites and the sentiment could easily be exchanged.

Happy Friday!

Winnie and Walter | Card Making without Dies | Take One

Hi there! First of all, thank you so much for spending your Saturday here.  I am honored to be Winnie and Walter's June Leading Lady. I been working hard this past month creating a few cards with the wonderful Spring release.

I have been a longtime fan of Winnie and Walter and in January, I had the pleasure of meeting Shay at CHA in Phoenix. Our friendship was instantaneous and I absolutely love her zest for anything crafty plus she is super fun.

When Shay asked to be a leading lady, I was so excited, of course I had to postpone for a few months as we just moved into the house from the camper and into the house. Then baby Justin was born 3 days after moving in!

Fast forward a few weeks, I got the chance to work on a few cards and today I am showing you a card made without dies!

First I used the grateful sentiment from The Big, the Bold and Blessings stamped over and over in black ink on the card base. Next, I trimmed the white card stock to fit 1/4 of the card base and stamped the leaves from In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya . Then, I stamped the sentiment from The Big, the Bold and Blessings on the card front.

The pink card stock was then adhered to the card front, then glued over the card base. On a separate sheet of card stock, I stamped more leaves and flowers from In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet and fuzzy cut those to be placed over the stamped leaves on the card front.

This card can be replicated with different sentiments and color schemes. I love how simple it was to make, and the flowers really are the focal point.

Giveaway:

Now, as your June Leading Lady, I been given a $30 gift certificate to pass on to you. All you have to do is comment on my Winnie & Walter posts on my blog! At the end of the month, I will draw a name from the comments! I will be posting every Saturday, so if you comment on each post you have 4x the chances of winning.

That is all for now, hope you join me next Saturday for another card! Have a fabulous week.
