Studio Katia | December Release

Hi there! Welcome to my stop of the Studio Katia December Release Hop! You should be arriving here from the amazing Svetlana.

I have a very fun shaker using the newest creative die Dotted Loops and the GORGEOUS Iridescent Hearts. These paired nicely with the Happy and Mandala stamp set!

To make this, I stamped the Mandala Flower on to the white card base using gray ink. On to another piece of white cardstock, I die cut the Dotted Loops.

Next, I added the Iridescent Hearts into the shaker. Then I heat embossed the Happy and birthday with WOW Silver glitter onto gray cardstock.

And finished off with an Iridescent Hearts on the card base just to show how beautiful these babies are!

Now on to the really good stuff!

Right At Home | Christmas Foliage 2 | Guest Designer

Hi there! Crystal here with my second appearance for the Right At Home blog.

I am super thrilled to share these two cards I made for the occasion. One was a bit more complicated than the other, however, they both showcase the beauty of the Christmas Foliage stamp set.

To begin, I have the clean and simple out of the two.

To make this I stamped the foliage with green ink on to the white card base.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in black ink and added gold splatters.

Next, I heat embossed the Ponsietta in gold powder and colored it with Copics, then die cut with the matching Christmas Foliage die set.

I really liked the way it turned out, and it would be a good design to mass produce.
Next up, is a card idea I had in my head for quite some time.

Stamping the Ponsietta on the card base, then negative cutting a top white layer and adhering the top card panel with foam adhesive to raise it above the stamping.

The sentiment was stamped on the top card panel.

The Ponsietta are colored with Copics and added a bit of gold glitter Nuvo drops on the center.

TO add a bit of sparkle, a few Metallic Gold Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh finished off the card.

Which one is your favorite?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Studio Katia | Happy Mandala Flower & Blooming Together | Guest Designer

Hi all! Crystal here with a special post for Studio Katia

I am super excited to be guest designing with Katia and the team. Her stamps are GORGEOUS and with so many possibilities.  I spent a very happy day coloring this card.

This card was super fun to make as it took stamping the mandala, then coloring each with Copic markers.

Then, I heat embossed the "happy" onto vellum. Trimmed and adhered to the card base with foam tape.

On black cardstock, I added the "you make me" and heat embossed that on white.

To finish off, I added the super fun Iridescent Crystal Mix facing up.

There is glitter Nuvo on the white areas on the actual mandala.

And it the whole thing made me quite happy. Now, this is not the end of the projects for me. Next up is a watercolor wonder, using the Together We Bloom stamp set and the Dotted Patterns: Fancy Square creative dies.

Now for this c, rd I relied heavily on my heat embossing gun! I stamped the florals from Together We Bloom on to heavy watercolor paper, and heat embossed in white. Using my watercolors, I dabbed the paint on to the florals.

The sentiment is then heat embossed on to the scallopped frame and embellished with Crystal Rainbow Confetti

This card turned out quite bright and happy.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Right At Home | Golden Christmas Foliage | Guest Designer

Hi there, Crystal Thompson here with a very special guest design spot using Right At Home Christmas Foliage. I am super excited to be here sharing this special card made with lots of gold and glitter.

This stamp set is gorgeous, and while the poinsettia from Christmas Foliage are perfect for coloring I wanted to keep it one tone yet elegant.

To make this card, I began by heat embossing the card base with the poinsettia, pine and holly stamps from Christmas Foliage with gold embossing powder. Next, using vellum, and gold glitter cardstock I matted that over the card base. I measured out my sentiment and placed it on the glitter cardstock.

To finish it up, I added Nuvo Drops to my holly berries and added one last die cut poinsettia cut from the matching Christmas Foliage Die

It's a vision in gold! I hope you liked what I created today. I will be back later in the month with a few more projects.

Hugs!

Crystal

The Ink Road | My Favorite Face | Guest Designer

Hi there! Today I have a super fun post for The Ink Road Stamp company! I received some fabulous stamp sets to create with and I just love the sentiments. They are super witty and funny.

The compliments on these are fantastic and I could not resist the leaves.

To make this, I stamped the leaves from Frond of You in two shades of green on to a masked centered area. Then heat embossed with gold a set of the leaves.

Once that was all dried up,  I added my sentiment from Compliments Volume 2.

And finished off with gold sequins!

What are your thoughts?! I loved the colors on this.

Thanks for stopping by!

Concord & 9th | Sunshine Turnabout Bundle | Feature Fridays

Hi, crafty friends, happy oh glorious Friday! Today I am so excited to be part of Concord & 9th Feature Friday. If you follow them or me on social media you have seen I am part of their July Guest Design Team. Of course, they have knocked it out of the park with this release, and one of my favorites is the Sunshine Turnabout Bundle.

The turnabouts are such a fun stamp to create backgrounds with. I wanted to create something that focused on the turnabout.

Before I launch into a brief explanation on how to make this card, I want to encourage you to watch the video on turnabouts from Concord & 9th. It will save you ALOT of time and hassle. ( experience talking here) Click HERE

To start, my sunburst turnabout colors are Altenew Cool Summer Night collection.I loved that they coordinate effortlessly. Next, I die cut using the Sunshine Dies and heat embossed the sentiment in WOW White Glitter powder.

The flowers are also stamped in alternating the layers of Altenew Cool Summer Breeze. The leaves are stamped in Altenew Moss and Parrot. Then adhered to the base and finished off with Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sequins.

That's it! Pretty simple and fun, right?! I hope you enjoyed this project. Come back next Friday for another Feature Friday featuring Unicorn Awesomeness Bundle.

Glitter Hugs!
