Card Making: Sweet Lullaby Collection by Heartfelt Creations

Heartfelt Creations has done it again, by creating a new collection of baby inspired Paper, stamps and die sets. This is a great set to add to the craft room, as new baby gifts, tags and cards are needed year round.

Today I am working with an intricate card using several items from the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Lullaby Collection, Ranger Archival Ink, and  Spectrum Noir markers.
Let' get started.
1. Select 2 sheets from your Heartfelt Creations Sweet Lullaby Collection paper pack and trim (1) 5.25 in x 4 in. to be the background of card.
2. Stamp Heartfelt Creations "Precious Lullaby PreCut Set" with Ranger Archival ink onto a alcohol marker paper.
3. Begin coloring stamped image using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
4. Once stamp imagine coloring is done, proceed to trim and mat on cardstock. Leaving about .25 inch of cardstock exposed.
5.  With second sheet of Sweet Lullaby Collection paper, cut two paper ribbons .75 inch wide by 2 inches long.
6.  Glue paper ribbons on back of the stamped image, slightly overlapping.
7. Place 2 enamel dots on each corner, and garnish with 2 buttons glued with glue dots.

This card is beautiful and the stamps created by Heartfelt Creations have some incredible detail. I cannot wait to continue playing with these gorgeous stamps.

In'spire Bird Stand Handmade Card

Hello! Today I am working with In'spire "Bird Stand" die by Spellbinders. This is a fun die of a deer head with antlers , and birds and leaves on the antlers.  The inspire line are Shapeabilities dies made of steel with a focus on jewelry and mixed media.

I wanted to create a card that focused on this beautiful die. Along sides it  I am using Kaisercraft's Blubelle Clear Stamp. So let's get started
1. Select your background paper, I am using a kraft card, dimensions 4.25 in. X 5.25 in.
2.Using your Sizzix Big Shot, cut the "Bird Stand" from white card stock.

3.  Using the stencil left from the cutting the die, place on the center of the card and sponge Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen to create a shadow.

4. With foam adhesives, glue die over the shadow of the "bird stand".
5.  Kaisercraft's Blubelle stamps have several non holiday sentiments, select one and stamp on your card using Hero Arts Pigment Ink in Unicorn.

How To Make A Shaker Card Using Die-Versions Frame Die!

Hello! Today we are working on a fun shaker card using the gorgeous Die-Versions "Hello" Sweet Frame. Lately, I been wondering how to make a window card, and when I saw this frame on the Cut@Home site, I could not resist! So let's get started!

Using your Sizzix Big Shot, cut your frame. (I must say a clean and crisp cut the first time!). Next trim your background paper, .25 inches smaller than your card and adhere.

Now to the window:
By using a clear envelope you can cut it fit within the frame, then using a stapler OR adhesive proceed to close the sides. Before it is all sealed, add your choice of items such as sequins, or glitter and seal the bottom. Glue the envelope to back of the frame.
Finally glue your finished window to your card.

Card Making: Kaisercraft Spring Bloom Card

Spring is here and so lovely, best part of spring is a paper pack by Kaisercraft. The name is Spring Bloom and the colors are absolutely stunning featuring rich corals, pink and teal.

I could not pass up this stack to make a very happy Spring card.

Let's get started! For this project you will be using 4 sheets from your stack. Next proceed to trim them to the following sizes:
Large background 5 in. x 4 in.,
Square 3 in. x 3 in.
Long rectangle 2.5 in. x 3.75 in.
Paper ribbon 5.25 in. x 1.5 in.
Once trimmed, proceed by using a dark brown ink to edge around each piece of paper. Here I used Hero Arts Cubes in "Cup O' Joe".
Now to glue them in the same order as above.
To give the card a 3D effect, use foam adhesives when placing the paper ribbon.
Next place your sentiment, which can be found in the paper stack and a flower from theKaisercraft Spring Bloom Collectables die cuts.

Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine Card

Hi there ! Today we are making a card using Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine stickers and Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine Collectables cardstock die cuts to make a fabulous card. Kaisercraft has a lovely whimsical zoo animals in celebration of summer, and what a perfect way to create a kid friendly card. 
Let's get started:
1. Select one of DCWV Cardstock cards as the background.
2. From the Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine sticker sheet , use the blue chevron sticker place on the upper portion of the card to create a ribbon then trim to fit.

3. Under the blue sticker ribbon, place the orange polka dot and leave a 1/4 inch space between the two set of ribbons.
4. Place two of the tab stickers above the chevron sticker. Then place one tab underneath the orange sticker.
Now to use the Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine Collectables cardstock die cut set.

5.  Using 3D foam adhesives place two of the circle birds in the middle of the ribbons.
6.  Place the sentiment of your choice of to the right corner. One corner will have a foam adhesive the other will be glued to the circle. 
7. Embellish!

Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine baby shadow box.

Hello Sunshine! Today I am working on a baby shadow box featuring Kaisercraft's Hello Sunshine paper pack and die cut shapes. This paper pack has 6 12x12 double sided pages and includes a sheet of stickers. The co-coordinating papers and stickers make it incredibly easy to mix and match the designs.

The photo on this is project is my darling baby girl who will be 7 soon and our dog both are about 4 months of age at the time.
Once you select your favorite baby photo proceed to select your 12x12 sheet.
Next, find a border or frame to place the photo.
Third, place your larger pieces from the die cut collection using 3D foam adhesive.

Fourth, glue your buttons or any other baby memorabilia.

Special girl confetti card.

Kaisercraft confetti collection has become one of my favorite paper packs ever! The colors are chic, girly and the possibilities are endless. Today I am making a card for a special girl using a non holiday saying inspired by Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.  Playing along today, Spellbinders "Modern Stationary" dies will help this card have dimension and layers.  Let's get started!

1. Select 2 papers from paper pack.

2. Using your Sizzix Big Shot cut the 2 pieces of paper with the Spellbinders Modern Stationary dies.
3. Select 2 embellishments from the confetti collectables die cut shapes, and 1 sentiment.

4. Now put it all together! First glue the larger die to your card, next using 3D squares glue the 2nd Modern die. Now to the sentiment, glue half of the sentiment to the raised die and add two 3D squares to the other side. Now you can glue the other 2 embellishments at the corners. I added a few sequins, done in record time!
