Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine Card

Hi there ! Today we are making a card using Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine stickers and Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine Collectables cardstock die cuts to make a fabulous card. Kaisercraft has a lovely whimsical zoo animals in celebration of summer, and what a perfect way to create a kid friendly card. 

Let's get started:

1. Select one of DCWV Cardstock cards as the background.

2. From the Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine sticker sheet , use the blue chevron sticker place on the upper portion of the card to create a ribbon then trim to fit.

3. Under the blue sticker ribbon, place the orange polka dot and leave a 1/4 inch space between the two set of ribbons.

4. Place two of the tab stickers above the chevron sticker. Then place one tab underneath the orange sticker.

Now to use the Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine Collectables cardstock die cut set.

5.  Using 3D foam adhesives place two of the circle birds in the middle of the ribbons.

6.  Place the sentiment of your choice of to the right corner. One corner will have a foam adhesive the other will be glued to the circle. 

7. Embellish!

Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine baby shadow box.

Hello Sunshine! Today I am working on a baby shadow box featuring Kaisercraft's Hello Sunshine paper pack and die cut shapes. This paper pack has 6 12x12 double sided pages and includes a sheet of stickers. The co-coordinating papers and stickers make it incredibly easy to mix and match the designs.

The photo on this is project is my darling baby girl who will be 7 soon and our dog both are about 4 months of age at the time.

Once you select your favorite baby photo proceed to select your 12x12 sheet.

Next, find a border or frame to place the photo.

Third, place your larger pieces from the die cut collection using 3D foam adhesive.

Fourth, glue your buttons or any other baby memorabilia.

Special girl confetti card.

Kaisercraft confetti collection has become one of my favorite paper packs ever! The colors are chic, girly and the possibilities are endless. Today I am making a card for a special girl using a non holiday saying inspired by Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.  Playing along today, Spellbinders "Modern Stationary" dies will help this card have dimension and layers.  Let's get started!

1. Select 2 papers from paper pack.

2. Using your Sizzix Big Shot cut the 2 pieces of paper with the Spellbinders Modern Stationary dies.

3. Select 2 embellishments from the confetti collectables die cut shapes, and 1 sentiment.

4. Now put it all together! First glue the larger die to your card, next using 3D squares glue the 2nd Modern die. Now to the sentiment, glue half of the sentiment to the raised die and add two 3D squares to the other side. Now you can glue the other 2 embellishments at the corners. I added a few sequins, done in record time!

Echo Park St. Patrick's Day Card Set

Echo Park has a mini theme that is perfect for the upcoming St. Patrick's day coming up. This mini theme collection kit is just the right amount of St. Patrick's day items to make a 6 scrapbook pages or numerous cards. With St. Patty's fast approaching I am making a set of cards using this collection and a foil over technique to color my shamrocks.
 
 Start with cutting 2 of the journaling cards included in the kit to use as my background image. Next, using one of the 12x12 double sided papers I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut the clovers using file "3D Bunch of clovers" from Jamie Lane Designs
.
 Setting 1 pair clovers aside for one card we are going to "foil" one of the clovers. You can do this with glitter, but I am using glitter color sprays. Step one is to spray your clover with the bright green, let dry for 15-20 seconds. Next spray with your gold glitter, while the spray is still wet using a tissue paper dab over to show some of the green. Let the clover dry before using to prevent smudging.
 

 Now to put everything together:

 Card #1
 1.Emboss journaling card using Spellbinders 3D M-Bossabilities European Tapestry folder.

 2. Glue non-foil clover to top corner of card
 3. Glue foiled clover slightly over the first clover.
 
4. Place ribbon across the stem of the foiled clover.
 5. Using the "Irish" sticker from stickers in collection
 6.  Using the stickers spell "SPD" and place at bottom of card.
 Card #2

 1. Trim shamrock journaling card so the card shows in back.
 2. Using larger clover glue on the center of the white shamrock.
 
 3. Layer the second clover to give the card dimension.
 
 4. Place green pear on center of clovers.
 5. Using stickers spell" GOLD" at the bottom of card.
 

 These cards are ready to be sent out, and still plenty of St. Patrick's Day paper goodies left to play with. These cards would be perfect paired with a baggie full of gold coins or rainbow colored candy.

Felt in Love

Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday on this gorgeous February day.

The card I made for the "Stamping on Felt" challenge over on the Get Inky Challenge Blog was very simple yet stunning.

Stamping on felt was a first time for me, and with help from Blue Moon Creations owner and founder I got a few tips. Use pigment ink :)

Get Inky has some wonderful stamps that are sooo versatile and can be used in a wide range of formats.

Heartfelt Creations Gift Bag

Heartfelt Creations has a new collection Majestic Morning Collection, and with Valentines right around the corner I wanted to make something for my daughter's teacher. I did not want her to be "my valentine" but simply an appreciation for all her hard work. This collection is simply stunning and the versatility in the paper pack allowed me to make a gift bag with my Silhouette Cameo.

I began by selecting a 12x12 sheet from the Majestic Morning Paper Collection and placing that in my Silhouette Cameo. The box is from Lori Whitlock 3D Treat Bag. Let me make a note that this paper did super well in the cameo, the cuts were crisp and clean. 

This is what I ended up with:

Next I proceeded to fold the bag and place adhesive on one side. Next I cut a carnation using Spellbinders Carnation Creations via Cuttlebug.

Here is the end result:

Gorgeous, right?! Next assemble your flower using a brad and set aside.

Now to work on our tag. The Majestic Morning paper pack has several tags to choose from. Just select one and cut it out.

Along to coordinate with the paper pack, Heartfelt Creations has 6 sets of pre-cut stamps. For this piece I am using one of the Majestic Morning Bouquet. I stamped it with StazOn and colored it in with watercolor markers. As a finishing touch I placed that gorgeous carnation on the tag, tided the ribbon on the baggie and ready to go!

I will be filling this treat bag with an assortment of chocolates, and giving this to my favorite 1st grade teacher. I cannot wait to make other gifts and coordinating cards with this collection.
