Winnie & Walter | Re-Run Challenge | Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs

Hi there friend! I have a quick post today because I wanted to tell you about Winnie & Walter's March Re-Run challenge! This month's featured stamp set is Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs.

Now if you are wondering what the "re-run challenge" is? Well, it's simply a challenge where a stamp set previously releases is featured and placed on sale.  The design team provides several inspirational projects.

With that said, let me show you what I made for this month's Re-Run.

This clean and simple project was very simple with some copic coloring.

Now that I have told you all about this challenge I invite you to hop on over to the Winnie & Walter blog, check out the full tutorial video and join the fun.

Honey Bee Stamps | Winnie & Walter | Hello

Hello, friends!I'm here with my official last post as part of the Butterfly Reflections design team member. So I figured it ever ironic to make a card saying Hello since it's never really a "goodbye" but a "see you later".

To make this card, I began by masking each side of my card panel, then stamping the floral background using Honey Bee Stamps Zen Bouquet in Altenew Deep Iris Crisp Ink.

Next, attached silver thread to the "hello" from Winnie & Walter. This was attached to the card base using foam adhesive and topped off with Pretty Pink Posh silver confetti.

I really like how the sentiment does not takeaway from the beautiful background stamp.

I absolutely loved being part of this great team and working alongside Vanessa.

Thanks again for a fantastic term, Cheers!

Winnie & Walter | Party | Challenge Entry

Hello! Hope you had a great weekend. I have a fun card made with for Winnie & Walter's color challenge. It seems like it has been a very long-time since I have made a card for a challenge and the colors on this one are absolutely fun!

Kinda reminded me of the Denver Broncos color scheme. (It's nearly football season, yay!)

For this card, I used a TON of Winnie & Walter Supplies. For starters, I stamped the lines from Scenery: Stripes2, then die cut the balloons from Big Balloon Cutaways, stamped those babies with the Stripes 2.

Embossed the card panel with the Spotted stencil and Nuvo Mousse. Die cut the Party and stamped that with Stripes 2.

Created a ribbon with yellow cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment from Sentimental Birthday. Finished off by adding LOTS of Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sequin Mix.

I am entering this card to MFT Sketch Challenge as its very similar style as the sketch provided.

and entering to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Add A Sentiment

What are your thoughts on the colors? Pretty, right?!

Winnie & Walter | Just Die Cuts | Take Two

Hi crafty friends! Crystal here again on this wonderful Saturday celebrating National Ballpoint Pen Day(I'm not kidding)! What better way to celebrate than making a card, writing something in it (with your ballpoint pen) and sending it out.

I chose to make a card without stamping! I can't believe that's allowed on a stamping site, yet it turned out pretty cute. For this, I am mixing some newer and older Cutaways from Winnie & Walter

First I started by trimming a piece of patterned paper and adhered to the card base. Next, using Winnie & Walter's  Cover Model: Multifaceted Cutaway I die cut on white card stock using my Big Shot. I did not take out all the triangles, just the center ones. Carefully placing adhesive on the back of each triangle so they don't fall out when I mail this. Then adhering the die cut to the patterned paper.

To continue with the no stamping, I die cut vellum using "ticket" die from Lana Cutaways, and wrapped silver thread and white twine to it, then glued that to the base.

The "congrats" is from the Spring release In a Word: Congrats Cutaway  using black card stock, and then placed on card base with 3D foam adhesive.  Voila, the card is ready for some penmanship and be mailed out!

Don't forget about the ongoing giveaway! Comment on my corresponding Winnie & Walter post on my blog for a chance to win a $30 gift certificate. There will be 4 posts for the month of June, giving you 4 entries to win.

Thanks so much for your time today! Hope you have a great week!

Winnie and Walter | Card Making without Dies | Take One

Hi there! First of all, thank you so much for spending your Saturday here.  I am honored to be Winnie and Walter's June Leading Lady. I been working hard this past month creating a few cards with the wonderful Spring release.

I have been a longtime fan of Winnie and Walter and in January, I had the pleasure of meeting Shay at CHA in Phoenix. Our friendship was instantaneous and I absolutely love her zest for anything crafty plus she is super fun.

When Shay asked to be a leading lady, I was so excited, of course I had to postpone for a few months as we just moved into the house from the camper and into the house. Then baby Justin was born 3 days after moving in!

Fast forward a few weeks, I got the chance to work on a few cards and today I am showing you a card made without dies!

First I used the grateful sentiment from The Big, the Bold and Blessings stamped over and over in black ink on the card base. Next, I trimmed the white card stock to fit 1/4 of the card base and stamped the leaves from In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya . Then, I stamped the sentiment from The Big, the Bold and Blessings on the card front.

The pink card stock was then adhered to the card front, then glued over the card base. On a separate sheet of card stock, I stamped more leaves and flowers from In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet and fuzzy cut those to be placed over the stamped leaves on the card front.

This card can be replicated with different sentiments and color schemes. I love how simple it was to make, and the flowers really are the focal point.

Giveaway:

Now, as your June Leading Lady, I been given a $30 gift certificate to pass on to you. All you have to do is comment on my Winnie & Walter posts on my blog! At the end of the month, I will draw a name from the comments! I will be posting every Saturday, so if you comment on each post you have 4x the chances of winning.

That is all for now, hope you join me next Saturday for another card! Have a fabulous week.
