Altenew | Floral Fantasy

Hello, friends! Crystal here on this Friday with a card made with my newest Butterfly Reflections haul.

As I try to beat the heat and stay inside, I created this card using one of Altenew's newest releases, Floral Fantasy.

The minute I saw this, I knew I had to have it, and well it somehow made its way to my little hands. Anyways, this is my card:

It was very quite simple to create. First I began by splattering gold Gansai Tambi Stary Colors, next I stamped the flowers in Altenew Inks, Frayed Leaf, Evergreen and Forest Glades. The blue flower is stamped in Cool Summer Night set of inks. The leaf is stamped in Altenew Sand Dunes.

These flowers were of course layered and finished off the prayers sentiment from Hero Arts die cut in gold card stock. Pretty Pink Posh Gold Metallic sequins added some more gold touches to this.

I am entering this card to August Inspiration Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hero Arts| Peacock Fun

Hello there! I am so excited to be back blogging and card making after taking a few weeks off. We have officially moved into our house after 10 months living in the camper. Then we welcomed our 4th child on April 5th. So between moving, unpacking and caring for a baby there was little time left to make anything. However, I am honored to be part of the new Butterfly Reflection design team and just had to make some time aside to join this group of talented ladies. So, head on over to the BR blog (Click Here) and check out this very colorful card!

Simply Stamps | One Stamp 4 Ways | Part 2

Hi and welcome! Today I have a series post for SimplyStamps.com called One Stamp 4 ways in which I use one stamp set from the Simply Stamp site and use it in four different cards, with four different techniques.

The stamp set I selected for today's series is called Happy Thanksgiving Daisies Craft Stamp.

This second project is simply stamping! With the use of 4 ink colors I used the smaller of the daisies to create a floral background.

To start, trim your black card mat to fit over  your card base. Next trimming a white piece of card stock to be 1 cm smaller than the black mat. Proceed to stamp your flowers in each ink color. allowing for some time to dry in between

Using a smaller piece of black cardstock heat emboss in white the sentiment. In this case, its the word "thanks" from a previous design your own stamp also from Simply Stamp.com

To finish the card using foam adhesive place your sentiment in the center and voila!

I did create a video as I made this card. You can view it below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
